The night shown stars into your room,
The night has been looking for you.
It dragged galaxies through your window,
Hues of violet swirl around your face,
Hoping that the stardust would be enough
to show you that you’re magic.
This is the night reminding you
That you made it through another day.
It never wants to find your body
Doing anything other than what it loves.
Reach for the moon that lights the night,
The stars that shine bright long after they die.
