Director’s Note: I am a young woman who has experienced sexual violence in my life, and I am giving a year of service to try to empower girls to express themselves positively and have access to support that could protect them. This film is a reflection of my personal history through my relationships and how I remember myself. By making this film I had a unique opportunity to reflect on my past, including my own trauma, and think about how I wanted to present myself in a way I had never done before.
